A Little Background Information…
Every year, Houston Family Magazine hosts its Annual Houston Family Camp Fair and Summer Vacation Expo. The goal of Camp Fair is to expose area families and their children to various camp experts and vacation representatives. This enables Houston families to gather valuable information from exhibitors face-to-face in one central location and make important decisions for their children and family.
2012 marked our 16th Camp Fair, and we’re very pleased with how it turned out! This year, we expanded the event to include three different locations in order to be more accessible to our readers. Those locations and times were: Baybrook Mall (February 17, 3-7 pm); Memorial City Mall (February 18, 10am-4 pm); and The Woodlands Mall (February 19, 12-4 pm).
Here’s what families have said about the event:

“I like that there are a lot of camps in one location. I learned about several options that I was not already aware of.” – Parent Testimonial
“There were several booths with interactive activities that I thought were great! Mad Science and the Inventors Society were two that were hard to tear my daughter away from.” – Parent Testimonial
“Camp Fair was very organized and conveniently located. There was also a good selection of camps.” – Parent Testimonial
“Thanks for putting on such a nice event!” – Parent Testimonial
“My favorite camp was Children’s Lighthouse, because they have kids camps for disabilities.” – Parent Testimonial
“It was great to have the performances. My daughter was enthralled by the dancing, and the Mad Science. It was a good way to keep her entertained and within sight while I asked some questions.” – Parent Testimonial
Here’s what our past exhibitors have to say about the event:
