Asia Society Texas' ExploreAsia camps seek to advance young learners' understanding of the world through fun, interactive, and meaningful activities.

Camps are designed to engage students with Asian art, culture, and history.

All camps take place Monday - Friday from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Summer 2022 Sessions include: Rising Artists: The Arts and Crafts of Asia: Monday, June 13 – Friday, June 17, 2022; Dive into artistic traditions of Asia! Meet local Asian and Asian American artists and create your own pieces inspired by traditional and contemporary practices, from Cambodia to Japan.

Recommended for students ages 9–12

Environmental Superheroes: Monday, June 27 – Friday, July 1, 2022;Become an eco-superhero! Learn about the rich ecologies of Asia and how we can take care of our Earth through hands-on fun with recycled crafts, local flora, and a community garden.

Recommended for students ages 6–9

Manga POP!: Monday, July 18 – Friday, July 22, 2022;Attention, artists and manga fanatics! Create your own comics inspired by the Japanese manga style, with opportunities for Beginner and Advanced students alike to learn how to bring comics to life on paper and on the web.

Recommended for students ages 9–14

Mindful Design Animation: Monday, August 1 – Friday, August 5, 2022;Mindfulness meets technology! With a Puranik Foundation coach, learn techniques for both mindfulness and stop-motion animation, and create a short film for your portfolio.
