At Bayou Bend Summer History Camp, kids become blacksmiths, make candles, play colonial games, write with quill pens, wear 18th-century clothes, and more! Bayou Bend’s collection of early Americana provides the perfect inspiration for exploring how children lived 250 years ago. Designed for students entering or exiting 5th grade during the summer they attend, this one-week program culminates in a special presentation for family and friends. Only three sessions left! Each runs Monday–Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
