Summer Art Camp: The Pearl Fincher Museum Difference Imagine your child sitting cross-legged in a museum gallery, learning to draw from observation.

Experiencing color through an immersive exhibition by "Keittoodles" artist Beth Brubaker.

Learning from engaging guest artists…curating an exhibition of their own work…and discovering the artist within themselves. Through it all, they learn the principles of art, artistic processes, art history and more. That’s what makes Summer Art Camp at the Pearl Fincher Museum of Fine Arts so unique.

Core Learning Each week of camp features a different theme, to engage your child with a subject they find interesting. Campers explore new mediums, techniques and principles of art through hands-on visual art lessons, outdoor activities, and special instruction from guest artists.

Summer Exhibitions Each day, children will spend time in the galleries of the Pearl Fincher Museum of Fine Arts.

The Main Gallery will feature "Elephant & Piggie in WE ARE ART! (A Mo Willems Exhibition)" while the Cole Gallery is transformed into an immersive exhibition by artist Beth Brubaker, creator of "Keittoodles." Surrounded by color and imagination, campers will be inspired to head back to their studio classrooms and create their own works of art.

NEW! Visual & Theater Arts Camp For the first time, the Pearl will kick off its Summer Art Camps with a special two-week, all-day camp that combines visual and theater arts. This camp partners with Troupe d’Jour to explore visual storytelling, performance art, and theatrical skills.

VTA Camp is designed for ages 5 to 12 and will meet May 30 through June 9. Tuition is $470 - $500 for the two-week, full-day camp.

Registration Details Summer Art Camps at the Pearl Fincher Museum of Fine Arts:

• Are for ages 5 to 12 
• Are held weekly, Monday through Friday, from June 12 through August 4 
• Feature different themes each week.
• You are welcome to register for multiple camps. 
• Are available as half-day or full-day camps 
• Are designed for beginner to intermediate skill levels 
• Have a maximum enrollment of 15 children per camp 

Tuition is $165 - $180 per week for half-day camp or $235 - $250 per week for all day camp.
