Freedom Over Texas 2013.

This fun-filled festival for the entire family celebrates the birth of our nation, honors our military, educates us about our country’s history, entertains the crowd with top name acts from diverse musical genres, and reaches out to the community through a partnership with Houston Food Bank. Exxon Mobil Summer Symphony Nights: A Star-Spangled Salute.

Principal Pops Conductor Michael Krajewski presents a rousing musical salute to Independence Day. The celebration concludes with a magnificent display of fireworks. Celebration of Freedom

Join us in celebrating our country’s independence!  A VFW military salute will begin the evening’s entertainment, followed by the National Anthem. The Exchange Club of Pearland will be handing out American flags, just as they have done for more than the last 20 years in honor of this great American celebration! “You’re a Grand Old Flag” Independence Day Celebration

118th Annual Friendswood Fourth of July Celebration will be packed full of entertainment, food and fun for the entire family.  The daylong celebration will kick off with the Grand Parade that will travel down Friendswood Dr.  Parade begins at 10a and will feature over 100 entries from Friendswood and around the State of Texas.  Parade concludes at Stevenson Park where over 50 booths, rides, games, food, live entertainment and fun will take place.  Centennial Park will hold the evening program starting at 7:30p with music, and then the fireworks extravaganza that will light up the sky begins at approximately 9:20p. 281-996-3220 or email rec@friendswood.com
