Thank you for taking the time to learn about Lutheran High North. We appreciate your interest in LHN and hope you enjoy the time spent looking at a snap shot of who we are and what we offer to our community.

LHN has a rich history of preparing and equipping students to become Christian leaders in their communities and places of vocation.  Many opportunities exist at our school, both academically and within extra-curricular activities, which help to promote and develop leadership qualities for all who are willing to participate.

We have prepared and sent many students to some of the greatest colleges throughout the United States as well as those great schools located here in Texas. Several of our graduates have accepted appointments into our military academies and have gone on to serve our country and then moved into leadership roles within the business world.

Our faculty and staff take great pride in preparing students to achieve beyond their high school experiences and yet have a rich and fulfilling experience at LHN. Often times we see the football player take on the lead role in the Spring musical, or the softball player who was also named to First Team All-State as a basketball player. These opportunities and more exist right here in Houston at Lutheran High North.

Most importantly, we teach from a Biblical Worldview perspective.  Knowing that God not only directs the affairs of man, He also desires a personal relationship with each of us. We teach and believe that God is always with us.  He tells us in His Word that He will never leave us. We teach and believe that God loved us so much He sent His only Son to die for our sins.  We teach and believe that Jesus Christ conquered death, rose from the dead and sits at the right hand of God to be our judge and all who believe in Him have eternal life. Through His life death and resurrection for each of us, we can now go out and literally change the world with this very message. For these reasons we proudly state Lutheran High North offers quality academics and meaningful ministry and continues to grow tomorrow’s leaders.
