Target Corp. and The Heart of America Foundation will unveil a newly renovated library and Target Meals for Minds food pantry at Edward H. White Elementary School. The renovated library will feature 2,000 new books and a technology upgrade, including new iPads. The program also provides seven books for each student to take home following the unveiling celebration. The Target Meals for Minds food pantry will provide more than 22 pounds of fresh produce and staple foods to each Edward H. White Elementary School student and their families.
This year, Edward H. White Elementary School is one of 25 elementary schools across the country to receive a library makeover as part of the Target School Library Makeover program. Through programs like this one, Target is on track to give $1 billion for education by the end of 2015.
