Spend the day in Collins Park exploring the outdoors and meeting local civic heroes and leaders. Learn how they support the community on a daily basis during the second annual Civic Adventure Day. Local elected officials, including Precinct 4 Commissioner R. Jack Cagle, and representatives with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, the Harris County Flood Control District, the Harris County Public Library, Harris County Public Health, and the Harris County Fire Marshal’s Office will answer questions and share information about how their organization supports the community. Firetrucks, food trucks, information booths, and activities such as archery, canoeing, crafts, dip netting, and fishing will also be available.
