If you have a fence in your backyard then here’s a perfect addition that your kids will love. A big outdoor chalkboard! The awesome DIY project was created by Tasya of My House and Home.
All you need is a piece of plywood, a tempered hardboard for a smooth finish and chalkboard paint. You can buy the paint at Home Deport for $10 per 30 oz can but I suggest buying a couple because the bigger the chalkboard the better.
A nice upgrade is adding a mailbox for storing chalk to the fence.
