Fun Educational Apps for Kids This Summer

 

 

 

 

PBS KIDS has a range of apps for kids to keep them entertained with fun and educational content during summer vacation. As families hit the road or head to the pool, parents can download PBS KIDS’ free apps for on the go summer learning.

  • NEW Kart Kingdom for tablet (ages 6-9): The popular immersive digital world is now available on the go. Kart Kingdom provides a safe, child-friendly experience for playing and learning, featuring a growing collection of fun, educational games for players as they interact, craft and complete quests.
  • Nature Cat’s Great Outdoors (ages 3-8): The Nature Cat-themed app encourages kids to explore outside using their camera to engage with nature and each other. The app serves up a new adventure every day, encouraging kids to continue exploring this summer.
  • Daniel Tiger for Parents: Parents and kids can learn together about feelings, self-control, responsibility, kindness and more.The app features singalongs and videos from Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, and helpful hints from child development experts.
  • PBS KIDS Games App (ages 2-8): The Games App brings all of the PBSKIDS.org games into one place. The appincludes curriculum-based games from favorite PBS KIDS shows and new games focused on math, science, reading, spelling, and more.

All PBS KIDS apps are available to download in the App Store for free.
