Houston's Own Allie DeBerry Will Be Making A Special Appearance at Carmike Cinemas

If you don’t know who Allie Deberry is then ask your tween or teenage kid and they will probably tell you all about the A.N.T Farm star who was born here in Houston. 

Allie will be making a special appearance at a Carmike Cinemas on Saturday to sign autographs and meet with fans after the premier of her new movie “Pass the Light.”

WHO/WHERE: The Carmike Cinemas Yorktown 15 entertainment complex (15900 Yorktown Crossing Drive in Houston) is hosting a special live appearance by Allie DeBerry (Disney Channel’s “A.N.T. Farm”), who stars in PASS THE LIGHT, an uplifting family and faith-inspired feature – opening nationwide at Carmike locations beginning February 6.

Allie, who grew up in Houston and attended Kingwood Park High School, will be on hand to meet fans, sign autographs and conduct an in-theatre Q&A with the audience following the movie. Allie’s father Tom is a teacher at Huffman Hargrave High School.

WHEN: Saturday, February 7 – in conjunction with the 7:15 pm PASS THE LIGHT screening.

PASS A COKE (#PassACoke) promotion with The Coca-Cola Company. All High School student attendees with ID and proof of ticket purchased for PASS THE LIGHT will receive a FREE SMALL COCA-COLA beverage at the Carmike concessions stand.

Advance tickets are available online via www.carmike.com. Tickets for groups of 10 or more are available for a discounted admission price, including the free Coke beverage.

ABOUT PASS THE LIGHT: 17 year old high school student Steve Bellafiore (Cameron Palatas) is determined to run for congress in order to challenge Franklin Baumann (Jon Gries), a confrontational candidate spreading harsh messages of exclusion and intolerance. As part of his campaign, Steve creates a grassroots movement called Pass The Light to unite his community, make a change in his school and spread a message of Christian love.
