Photoshop mixed with social media doesn’t always lead to horrible stories that makes us want to cancel our Facebook or Twitter accounts. Sometimes they lead to stories that make you thankful for everything you have in life.
Over this past weekend, a grieving Ohio father posted a request on Reddit asking if someone could photoshop a picture of his daughter, Sophia, who died at 6 weeks old from a liver tumor.
“My daughter passed away after a long battle in the children’s hospital. Since she was in the hospital her whole life, we never were able to get a photo without all her tubes. Can someone remove the tubes from this photo?” Nathan Steffel wrote on Reddit.
Many people responded with beautiful photoshopped images and drawings that overwhelmed Nathan and his wife.
“I was overwhelmed with the response I got,” he told TODAY Parents. “My wife and I were so grateful so many people took the time out of their own lives to either send a nice message of sympathy or an awesome drawing. They couldn’t have made this father any happier.”
“This is really amazing. Everyone you have made my day. All I wanted was a nice picture. What I received as a long of love and support from a bunch of strangers.” replied Nathan on Reddit
