Superbowl time means football for some folks, but for others it means food. Oh, and commercials of course. Do you really want to impress your guests without putting too much effort into it? We are talking french onion dip, stuffed mushrooms, chocolate cake and more! Would you believe Mayo is the common ingredient?
Just Mayo is egg-free, non-GMO, gluten-free, soy free, dairy-free, lactose-free and naturally cholesterol-free. A great way to eat clean but still get a great taste.
Here are a few recipes we love:
JUST FRENCH ONION DIP
- 1 cup Just Mayo™
- ¼ tsp onion powder
- 1/8 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Mix ingredients together and serve with vegetables or chips! Yum.
JUST STUFFED MUSHROOMS
- 12 large mushrooms
- 3 cups stuffing
- ½ cup green beans (chopped)
- ¼ cup onion (chopped)
- 1 tsp garlic (finely minced)
- 1 tsp parsley (chopped)
- 1 cup Just Mayo™
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ cup panko breadcrumbs
- Preheat oven to 375˚F Lightly grease a sheet tray. Remove stems from mushrooms and hollow out using a damp paper towel. Pat dry and set aside.In a large bowl, mix vegetables, stuffing, and Just Mayo™. Then add in spices and seasoning.
Scoop mixture into hollowed out mushrooms, ensuring they are rounded out over the tops.
Sprinkle breadcrumbs over the mushroom stuffing to create a crispy texture.
Bake mushrooms for 10-12 minutes, until tops are golden brown.
JUST BRUSCHETTA
- 5 tomatoes (diced small)
- ½ onion (diced small)
- 1 tbsp garlic (finely minced)
- 1 tbsp fresh basil (minced)
- 1 tsp thyme (picked)
- 1 tbsp parsley (chopped)
- 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 4 tbsp Just Mayo™
- 1 tbsp salt
- Baguette-style rustic bread for toasting
Bruschetta Topping: Chop vegetables and herbs and combine in a mixing bowl; stir in balsamic vinegar and salt to taste. Set aside to marinate for up to 30 minutes.
Toast 1/4’ slices in oven at 350˚F for 7-10 minutes.
Spread Just Mayo™ on toasted bread and top with Bruschetta.
