Summer of Fun Bucket List

So with so much to do and so little time, how do you plan to spend your summer with the kids? We have some ideas for you.

Make a PLAN!!

TIMELINE

You’ve basically have 12 weeks with the kids before summer ends

FAMILY VACATION

Deduct 1-2 weeks from the 12 weeks, for family vacation this summer

CAMP

Deduct the 1-2 weeks of camp you have planned for your kiddos

SCHEDULE

You’ve now got about 8-10 weeks left. How many days will you have to hit up fun activities, 1-2 days?

DIVIDE & CONQUER

If you are down to 8 weeks, and you are spending 1-2 days a week hitting up local spots, you should be able

to create a bucket list of at least 10-20 places to visit this summer!

Be adventurous this summer!

Act like a tourist in your own town!

Visit places you would normally only think to bring out of town guests!

Main Street Theater

Caractacus Potts and his children, Jeremy and Jemima embark on the ride of a lifetime with their out-of-this-world car, the one – the only – Chitty Chitty Bang Bang! Houston Zoo

New this summer, amidst all of the 100 Year celebrations, is The Sloth Encounter and the Undersea Discovery. When is the last time you were up close to a sloth! So fun!!

Lone Star Flight Museum

Have you always dreamed of being a WWII pilot? How about just flying in one of their planes1! Kids ages 12-17 can make this dream come true this summer! Must be accompanied by a parent! If you’d rather stick to the ground, you can check out the simulator and other cool history!
