The Christmas tradition continues as LaCenterra at Cinco Ranch in Katy hosts the 10th annual tree lighting ceremony presented by Texas Children’s Hospital/ West Campus. Enjoy fun activities with family and friends.

Zoo Lights

300,000 LED lights illuminating more than 50 animal-themed light displays, 15 miles of tree-lighting, and seasonal songs and stories. Sip hot chocolate as you stroll through the Zoo and take in the whimsical colorful projections over 15 feet tall, life-size lighted animal sculptures.

Uptown Holiday Lighting 

November 24
This fun-filled family event kicks off the holiday season with more than half a million twinkling lights, a sparkling electric light parade, an exciting holiday stage show and a special appearance by Santa Claus. Fireworks lights up the Houston skies and music fills the air during the dramatic finale.

30th Annual Wortham Tree Lighting

November 23
Join Houston Grand Opera, Houston Ballet, Houston Public Media, and Houston First to kick off the holiday season in the theater district with a holiday tree lighting, live performances, and an opportunity to take pictures with Santa. Bring gently used books to donate to Books Between Kids.
