Teaching Beyond the Classroom

Kudos to Houston-area teachers Haley Galyean, Tomball ISD and Stacey Mehaffey, Klein ISD who were chosen to represent Austin-based EcoRise, a nonprofit curriculum and training provider that serves teachers with inspiring curriculum, hands-on professional development, and classroom grants. The educators, chosen from a competitive pool of applicants, have gone above and beyond to empower their students to bring about environmental and social change in our world.
