Vivaldi Music Academy is the Epitome of Allegro

by Tonya Kerr

The brisk tempo of allegro perfectly describes one of Houston’s fastest growing music powerhouses, Vivaldi Music Academy.

In just five short years, Vivaldi has grown from one to two and now three locations to deliver musical education to more than 1,700 students in the Houston area.  And just last month, more than 60 of those students and five faculty members had the opportunity to perform at the Weill Recital Hall in Carnegie Hall in New York City for a two-day recital.

Vivaldi’s Director, Zeljko Pavlovic, reminded his students that Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky conducted at the grand opening of Carnegie Hall more than 127 years ago. Pavlovic said, “It’s one thing to tell students that Tchaikovsky performed there. It’s quite another to have them stand in the same building and look out into the same venue. It could be the inspiration that leads a student to bigger things.”

Vivaldi Music Academy is dedicated to offering live performance opportunities and music education for all ages while fostering confidence and creativity in areas such as piano, violin, guitar, cello, voice and ensembles for everything from jazz to rock band.  Early childhood development classes are also available.

Vivaldi Music Academy is projected to make this year’s Inc 5000 list of fastest-growing companies in America.  And with back-to-school registrations happening now, enrollment is limited with a few waitlists at all three locations of West U, Bellaire, and the newest location in Echo Lane Shopping Center in West Houston. There are no long-term contracts, and levels from beginner to advanced are available.

Most experts will tell you that music is rarely about natural talent, but instead, it’s the love of the music or instrument and the student’s eagerness to learn. With state-of-the-art facilities and renowned faculty who are decorated recitalists and award-winning musicians (including members of the Houston Symphony and Houston Grand Opera), there is no limit to what a student can achieve at Vivaldi Music Academy.

Pavlovic’s motto for students is “Dream Big. Be Creative. Play Music.” Pavlovic believes that a love for music creates a solid foundation for life – wherever that leads. Through his efforts, as well as the time and talents of the staff he’s assembled, Houston’s students and families are enriched by the musical opportunities at Vivaldi Music Academy.  For more information on registration, visit www.vivaldimusicacademy.com.
