Earth Day Houston, developed by Air Alliance Houston, is the Houston area’s premier celebration of our planet at Discovery Green.
The FREE one-day celebration will focus on the merits of mindful, sustainable living while educating and encouraging Houstonians to do their part to preserve, conserve and enhance our city and the Earth.
Earth Day Houston showcases more than 30 green non-profits, each educating visitors on how they can make Houston greener.
Features interactive environmental awareness activities highlighting land, air, water, sustainability, healthy living and wildlife & habitat, and includes a Green Expo, Eco Landscape Zone and an Urban Harvest Local Fare in support of local and sustainable products, plus kids’ activities throughout the day.
Proceeds benefit Air Alliance Houston, a local environmental non-profit dedicated to educating adults and children in the Houston region about air quality issues.
