logo_fare2Food Allergy Research & Education (FARE) works on behalf of the 15 million Americans who have food allergies, including all those at risk for life-threatening anaphylaxis. FARE’s mission is to ensure the safety and inclusion of individuals with food allergies while relentlessly seeking a cure.

The FARE Walk for Food Allergy brings together thousands of Americans seeking a safe world for those living with food allergies. The Walk is a family-friendly event that takes place in communities nationwide to fund food allergy research, education, advocacy and awareness.

We walk to fund food allergy awareness, advocacy, education, and research programs.

Walk Schedule

Registration/Check-in: 8:00am-9:30am
Walk Ceremony: 9:30am
Walk Begins: Immediately Following Ceremony.
Walk Distance: The walk route is approximately 2 miles.
Restrictions: Strollers and wagons are welcome. Skates, skateboards, bikes, and pets are not allowed.

The walk will take place rain or shine.

Free Walk Day Parking

Free parking is available at the City Hall Annex Garage to the first 380 vehicles on a first-come, first-serve basis. The garage is adjacent to Sam Houston Park, and near the intersection of Walker Street and Bagby Street. The garage entrance is on Walker Street.
