GALVESTON, TEXAS (Feb 2, 2026) – Mardi Gras! Galveston is ready to launch its 2026 celebration in full force, unveiling a packed first-weekend music lineup that transforms downtown Galveston into a non-stop party of live concerts, DJ-driven dance experiences, and signature island energy.

The opening weekend, Friday, February 6 through Sunday, February 8, sets the tone for the entire season with multiple stages activated from day to night, blending Texas country, funk, jazz, Latin legends, and high-energy EDM into a vivid, multi-day entertainment schedule surrounding the first wave of parades and festivities.

From block parties in front of the historic Tremont House to late-night dance beats at Electric Mardi Gras! And even a street circus, weekend One delivers wall-to-wall entertainment designed to keep revelers moving long after the beads start flying.

Weekend One Headliner Highlights

  • Logan Ryan Band (Friday night) brings modern Texas country with an edge, known for high-energy performances that blend Red Dirt roots with rock-driven storytelling — a perfect soundtrack to kick off the Mardi Gras season under the lights.
  • Wade Bowen (Saturday evening) headlines the weekend with his signature Texas country sound and loyal fan following. A seasoned songwriter and chart-topping artist, Bowen’s live shows are crowd-driven, emotional, and tailor-made for a massive Mardi Gras audience.
  • Little Joe y La Familia (Sunday Fiesta Gras!) closes out the weekend with legendary Tejano music that has defined generations. As a cornerstone of Latin music culture, Little Joe delivers a powerful, celebratory performance honoring tradition, rhythm, and community during Fiesta Gras!
