Every time one of my kids loose a tooth, I have them put it in an envelope and seal it. I then ask them what they want me to draw on the envelopes and I do so. Then when they are asleep, I take the envelope and trace the pictures onto a new one which contains money and some random objects (ex: a Dave and Buster ticket or One Direction trading card). I place the new envelope under my kids’ pillows and then wake them up the next morning excited to hear what the Tooth Fairy gave them.
But one night, I fell asleep before I could replace the tooth and woke up to an angry daughter who wanted to write a note just like this one.
Thankfully I remembered the next night so she didn’t have to.
