11 year old girl diagnosed with cancer creates "Chemo Backpack" for kids receiving chemotherapy

I’m sure you remember helping your kid with this school project: Invent something that solves an everyday problem.

11 year old Kylie Simonds, who battled cancer and and has been cancer-free for the past 2 years, was given that school assignment and unlike most kids, she actually created something great that could help many kids in the world. She invented the “Chemo Backpack”, a portable IV machine that could replace the huge and intimidating standard portable IV machines.

Kylie is currently trying to raise money via a crowdfunding site CrowdRise to manufacture the backpacks.  You can support the project by clicking here
