Second Round: On or about December 15, 2014, a photo taken of each Semi-finalist will be posted to the Houston Family Magazine Facebook page. A qualified panel of judges selected by Sponsor, in its sole discretion, will judge the twenty-four (24) professional photos taken by the TL Modeling Agency (Anthem in Art) photographer based on the judging criteria. The Finalist Voting Period, Dec 15-31, 2014, will commence to choose a ‘Fan favorite’ winner along with two (2) boys and (2) girls from the twenty-four chosen Semi-Finalists. If a tie occurs in the First Round or Second Round, the judges will choose the winner. Decisions of judges are final and binding in all respects.
Fan Favorite voting: Limit one (1) vote per person and per email account and per Facebook account per day throughout the Finalist Voting Period. The Semi-finalist entry with the highest total number of votes will be deemed a potential Cover Kids Contest Finalist, subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules, and will be eligible to receive a Fan Favorite prize package. VOTE COUNTS DISPLAYED ONLINE MAY NOT BE ACCURATE. RESULTS ARE UNOFFICIAL UNTIL ALL ONLINE VOTES HAVE BEEN COUNTED AND VERIFIED BY SPONSOR. Votes received from any person or Facebook account in excess of the stated limitation will be void. Entrants are prohibited from obtaining votes by any fraudulent or inappropriate means, including, without limitation, offering prizes or other inducements to members of the public, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion.
The five (5) potential Photo Contest Finalists will be notified by email, mail and/or telephone on or about January 2, 2015. To be eligible as a Photo Contest Finalist, each Photo Contest Finalist and his/her child depicted in the photos will be required to travel to Houston Family Magazine magazine photo shoot in downtown Houston with the TL Modeling Agency photographers during the month of January 2015. Schedule to be determined with each Finalist. Failure to attend the photo shoot and/or travel on specified dates for any reason will result in disqualification. Sponsor, in its sole discretion, may disqualify a Finalist for any reason, including without limitation, behavior of Finalist or Finalist’s child at the photo shoot.
