A lot of parents were upset with Beyonce when she released her most recent album and videos which were full of profanity and provocative images. These were things that a lot of parents didn’t want their kids hearing and seeing from a singer that so many little girls look up to. Regardless of how you feel about that album, it’s really hard not to like or at least respect the born and raised in Houston superstar.
Earlier in the year, Time Magazine put Beyonce on the cover and listed her as one of the “100 Most Influential” people in the world and last week, Forbes crowned her the “most powerful celebrity” in the world. Then last week, she donated $7 million to help house the homeless in Houston.
I still wont let my daughters listen to her last album, but I have no problem calling her a Supermom and praising all that she is doing.
