The YMCA Children’s Academy provides enriching experiences that help to facilitate a child’s cognitive, social, physical and emotional growth. We strive to meet the developmental needs of each individual child by working in partnership with their families. All early care locations follow the Creative Curriculum to ensure that our children are ready for school. Creative Curriculum provides the most innovative and effective curriculum, assessment, professional development, and family connection resources to programs serving children from birth through kindergarten.
The goal of early childhood development programs is for children to be well prepared to enter school. Our programs are licensed by the Texas Department of Protective and Regulatory Services, Child Care Licensing. School readiness activities include literacy, songs and music, art, science, outdoor time and physical activities.
