Catholic Charities’ Blessed Beginnings Pregnancy and Parenting Life Center believes that once a mother or parents choose life, we should be there for them after they have made that choice. We focus on the critical time period from the women’s pregnancy through the age of 5 – a child’s most formative years.
We provide a series of classes in English and Spanish that educate parents about vitally important topics, which allows them to earn points to purchase needed baby items such as diapers, bottles, clothes, cribs, car seats and age-appropriate learning toys.
Our classes cover a wide variety of critical parenting topics including: prenatal care, sudden infant death syndrome, shaken baby syndrome, symptoms of postpartum depression, nutrition, breastfeeding and formula, age-appropriate play, raising emotionally healthy children, positive discipline, budgeting and more!
