I was happy when I first heard the song “Happy” by Pharrell Williams on the Despecible Me 2 soundtrack. I was happy when he released an official video for the song and was even happy enough to attempt to watch the 24 hour long version of the video that featured everybody from Steve Carrell to Magic Johnson to Jimmy Kimmel to Jamie Foxx.
The Oscar nominated song has since appeared in numerous TV spots and commercials, spawned lots of homemade versions on YouTube and Pharrell even performed it at the NBA All-Star game earlier this month.
As great as those videos and performances were, they can’t beat the boys and staff at Visible Men Academy in Bradenton, Florida.
