Duranord Veillard turned 108 this past Saturday. As amazing as it sounds to live long enough to have 108 birthdays, it’s not as amazing as the fact that he and his wife, 105 year old Jeanne, have been married for 82 years! The couple have 5 children, 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Maybe the most amazing number about Duranord is 7. That’s how many push-ups he does every morning when he wakes up at 5am. Then afterwards, he and his wife have a cup of tea and a bowl of oatmeal and fresh fruit.
“He remembers everything,” said his son, Vely Veillard, 62. “Look at him! He don’t want to use a cane. He’s a superstar.”
