You don’t have to like basketball or even know who Kevin Durant is to like and shed a tear over his emotional speech that was given yesterday at his MVP (Most Valuable Player) award ceremony.
The former Texas Longhorn is arguably the best pro basketball player playing today and also one of the most giving. Last year, he anonymously donated a million dollars to the Red Cross to help with the Oklahoma disaster relief and earlier this year, the organization Strong & Kind donated a million dollars to his “Kevin Durant Charity Foundation” to create specialized education and after-school programs for at-risk youth.
