Many of the most legendary comic book artists and writers will be at The Amazing Houston Comic Con this weekend. It’s a lot of fun for boys and girls of all ages but Sunday at the George R. Brown convention is officially “Kids Day.”
Here’s a few of the special things happening tomorrow just for the kids.
*Adventure Time Fan Meet-up! Fans of all ages have flocked to the hit cartoon series staring Finn & Jake. With Special Guest Star, Adventure Time Comic Book Artist- WOOK JIN CLARK!
*Amazing ANIMATION Sketch Fest! Kids 10 and under will get FREE Sketches by Featured Guest- MAT NASTOS, Former writer/artist for Disney (Phineas & Ferb, Emperor’s New School). As a special bonus for Houston Comic Fans, Eddie Nunez, artist of Ben10 and other favorites will also be sketching at the con for kids throughout the day.
*My Little Pony- Hour of Power with artist Tony Fleecs- from 1-2pm on Sunday August 31, MLP artist will sketch your favorite Pony- From Rainbow Dash to Twilight Sparkle, and more! Better line-up early as this offer is extremely limited, good for kids 10 and under at Amazing Houston Comic Con.
*Sunday Morning Cartoons- what better way to start your day off right? Family favorites will play on our biggest screen!
*Giant Video Game Arena on the Convention Floor- play your favorites in a classic Arcade style competition, utilizing the newest game systems from XBox One and PS4.
*Kid’s Costume Parade- the best way to end your weekend of fun at the Amazing Houston Comic Con is to showcase tour superhero spirit. Each child participating receives a special prize. All costumes welcome!
