PE teacher Dale Irby has been teaching for 40 years at Prestenwood Elementary. More impressive than his longevity is that his polyester shirt and sweater has lasted just as long!
Back in 1974, Irby realized that he accidentally wore the same outfit for yearbook pictures that he wore the year before. He was embarrassed but his wife thought it was funny and dared him to continue to wear the same shirt and sweater year after year for the annual pictures.
So he did…for 4 decades!
