HFM: What do you love most about living in Houston?
RE: I love that Houston is very multi-cultural and you can find food from all over the world here. I also love that there’s a lot of free family friendly events.
HFM: What types of things do you and your family do around the city?
RE: On Thursday afternoons my family and I enjoy visiting museums for free. Also, the Arboretum at Memorial Park has a lot of educational activities. The Discovery Green Park has a great playground for kids and we also love visiting Bayou Bend on the free family days (usually once a month).
HFM: What is your favorite thing to do in Houston?
RE: We enjoy the zoo which has a very reasonable membership cost.
HFM: What would you tell a visitor the top three things they should do when coming to Houston for a visit?
RE: NASA, Moody Gardens and the Hermann Park/Museum District area.
HFM: Why do you think it’s important to show your kids a love for their city?
RE: I want my kids to grow up to be positive influences in their community and that involves having a sense of pride of the community they belong to. I think Houston is a great place to live!
