Southside Espresso 
Go if: A casual coffee date is in order, but could turn into something more (there’s plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance if it goes to the next level)

Mala Sichuan 
Go if: Your date is adventurous and loves spicy foods
Impress your date with: Spicy and crispy chicken ($10.95) that will keep your tongue tingling with spice

Hearsay Gastro Lounge
Go if: You share a mutual love of cocktails and want to hang out in Downtown
Impress your date with: A Humbolt County cocktail ($10) made with bourbon, orange, lemon, mint, basil and ginger beer

Go if: A classic dinner is more your style
