A Kids Perspective…

The Three Musketeers Review by Bailey Johnson, 11 years old

The Three Musketeers play is about a young man named D’Artagnan who dreamed of becoming a Musketeer. He and his sister go on an adventure to Paris, France so D’Artagnan can become a Musketeer and help defend the King of Paris. His parents send his sister with him and she is pretty funny, dressing up like a boy and sword fighting. She falls in love with one of the Musketeers and chased him around the entire play. D’Artagnan had to battle with the evil Cardinal along with the other Musketeers to help save the Queen’s reputation in the kingdom.

My favorite part was when D’Artagnan kept getting into trouble with the Musketeers and scheduled duels with each one an hour apart. It was pretty funny. But they ended up becoming friends and working together.

The scenery was well done, and the sword fights on the stairs were pretty cool. The actors did a great job and the show was very funny, I laughed a lot! The sword fighting was so cool and engaging. It kept my attention for sure.

I give the play 5 stars and highly recommend for kids to go see this show. It was great for a night out with the family.
