Ashley HomeStore Hosts Free Family Photo Day on Sunday, October 1
Houstonians whose family photos were damaged or washed away during Hurricane Harvey will have the opportunity to start new memories when Ashley HomeStore hosts a free Family Photo Day on Sunday, October 1 from noon – 4 p.m.
Together with Photo Texas Photography, free photo sessions will be available on a first-come, first-served basis in the Ashley HomeStore locations in Willowbrook (17727 Tomball Parkway), Webster (1001 W. Bay Area Boulevard) and Galleria area (4500 San Felipe).
Families will receive an 8×10 photo print and a link to access their photos online. Photos can be taken with families dressed up, dressed down or perhaps wearing the same outfits from a favorite photo damaged in the storm.
“While there’s nothing we can do to bring back treasured photos that were damaged or washed away, we can certainly help families start new memories,” says Jeff Magner, Vice President of Ashley HomeStore.

In addition to hosting the free Family Photo Day, Ashley HomeStore in Houston has donated bedding and home furnishings to several women and children’s shelters damaged in Hurricane Harvey. Its stores also collected non-perishable items and personal care products for distribution via the Red Cross.
