Make your own green cleaning products from a few ingredients found in the pantry!
Laundry Soap (my fave!)
- 4 cups of baking soda
- 3 cups of washing soda
- 2 cups of soap flakes
- 1 tablespoon of essential oil (lavender, lemon, grapefruit are common)
Combine all ingredients & mix with a whisk
Use an 1/8c per load; low sudsing action – safe for high efficiency machines
All Purpose Cleaner
- 1c white vinegar
- 4c water
- 1/4c fresh lemon juice
- 1 tbsp essential oil
Mix in a spray bottle and use as all around cleaner
Tub Scrub
- 1c baking soda
- 1/4c water (enough to make paste)
- 1/4c coarse salt
- Mix and store in a jar with lid
- Wood cleaner
- 1/4c olive oil
- 4 tbsp vinegar
- 2 tsp fresh lemon juice
Mix in a spray bottle; store in the fridge and shake before using
Granite Counter Top Cleaner
- 1/4c rubbing alcohol
- 3 drops castille soap
- 1c water
Mix in a spray bottle and use with microfiber cloth
Drain Cleaner
- 1/2c baking soda
- 1/2c white vinegar
- 1 gal boiling water
Pour baking soda down the drain; gradually pour the vinegar down the drain. Let fizz and dissolve. Follow with the boiling water. Wait 30 minutes & repeat if necessary
