Get ready to celebrate National Hot Dog Month!
July is National Hot Dog Month and at least two Houston companies get an HFM Shout Out! James Coney Island opened its doors in 1923 on Houston’s Walker Street, and while we can no longer buy a hot dog for a nickel, every third Thursday this summer, you can grab an Original Coney for 95 cents.
You can also head out to Minute Maid Park every Tuesday for Dollar Dog Night featuring Texas’ own Nolan Ryan Beef for unlimited dogs while you watch the World Champion Astros.
