Pumpkin Patch 2014 at the Nature Discovery Center (FREE ADMISSION)
Saturday, October 18 & Sunday, October 19 – 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. – RAIN OR SHINE
Come visit our 21st Annual Pumpkin Patch at the Nature Discovery Center. You and your family can come pick out the perfect pumpkin for your front porch, enjoy kid’s games and moonbounces in a carnival atmosphere, and more! This annual festival is a great, safe place for family fun, food, and games – and the pumpkins on the lawn provide great photo opportunities.
While you’re here you can ride the Tubs-of-Fun ride, have your face painted, or climb the rock wall…if you dare! If you’re looking for some old time fun, take a wagon ride around the block. There will be vendors selling jewelry, candles, and more.
Pumpkin Patch provides fun for the whole family and supports the programs of the Nature Discovery Center. A win-win!
Tickets/Prices
Admission is free.
Individual tickets are $0.50. About 18 different festival games are just 1 ticket each. Crafts, activities, and larger attractions can be 4 or 6 tickets each. The Rock Wall (just added to our attraction line-up on 10/16), will be $5.
Pumpkin Passes are $20 and can be shared by the whole family to cover games, activities, crafts, some food/drinks, and pumpkins. You get $21 worth of tickets and don’t have to carry around a wad of tickets.
Food prices range from 2 tickets for popcorn, soda and water, to 4 tickets/slice for pizza, to 7 tickets per Chick-fil-A Sandwich (available only on Saturday). Sno balls sold by an outside vendor generally cost 6 – 9 tickets.
Pumpkin prices vary from year to year depending on the sizes they deliver and the prices they charge us. Final pricing won’t be known until Friday evening, October 17th. Generally they are about $3 – $8, but sometimes we have smaller pumpkins and gourds as well.
