Choosing a preschool for your child can be a challenge for new parents. Finding time to explore them all is next to impossible. Simplify the process on Sunday, April 8, from 1-3pm, at the inaugural Northwest Preschool Preview at Cypress Christian School featuring more than 20 area schools and programs.
“Researching what’s available can be overwhelming for new parents who are looking for that first classroom experience,” said Angie Ramirez, Admissions Director for Cypress Christian School. “Giving families one place on one day to explore what’s offered at more than 20 schools will introduce them to the wide variety of private/parochial schools in our area.”
When selecting a preschool, it’s important to get on campuses to truly get a feel for the schools. Ramirez says questions to consider include your goals, priorities and the kind of environment/curriculum that will be right for your child and family. Factor in your child’s unique needs and talk to the schools about your expectations. Recommendations are always a good thing to consider and, in the end, you need to trust your instincts as to where you feel most at home.
