The Houston Symphony’s triumphant 2018 European tour saw the orchestra perform triumphant concerts to enthusiastic, sold-out crowds in Brussels, Belgium; Warsaw, Poland; Vienna, Austria; and Essen, Berlin, Hamburg, Hannover and Munich, Germany. Spirits were high, curtain calls were plentiful, and the response—from critics, overseas patrons, and musicians alike—was truly extraordinary!
The Houston Symphony shared the journey with three-time Grammy Award winner Hilary Hahn, who brought a seamless chemistry to each performance of Bernstein’s Serenade, a piece that was featured on one of her first recordings as a young “star in the making.” #HSinEurope
