Happy faces and shrills of delight will fill the classrooms, hallways, pools and play areas of the Evelyn Rubenstein JCC on June 4, 2018.
While there is plenty of fun, J Camps also build leadership skills, instill confidence and strengthen Jewish identity. For example, the daily swim instruction introduces lifesaving skills around water. Camp counselors provide mentoring and help build professional skills which campers will use throughout their lives.
And as generations of campers will attest, children create community bonds with other children from other schools while building lifelong friendships.
