Happy Go Texan Day from HFM!

Let’s RODEOHOUSTON®!

The frenzy officially begins today CITYWIDE for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo™ – as trail riders venture into town from all directions; cowboy breakfasts and cook-offs feed thousands and everyone young and old celebrates Go Texan Day!

Dress is your favorite western attire as you head off to school, work and fun.  Put your best cowboy boot forward and show your Western pride.  Happy Go Texan Day from HFM!

A free Rodeo Roundup, located in front of City Hall in downtown Houston, is a wonderful place to go today for music, free food and games as Mayor Sylvester Turner declares Feb. 23, 2018, as Go Texan Day.  Take your photo atop a Texas Longhorn Steer.

Businesses, organizations, clubs and schools are encouraged to show support on Go Texan Day for a chance to be recognized by the world’s largest livestock show and rodeo.
