A group of local moms are offering a unique opportunity to start a conversation in our community about how screen time impacts our lives. Join parents and educators TODAY from 6 to 8 p.m. at Humble High School and Kingwood High School to watch the documentary SCREENAGERS: Growing Up in the Digital Age www.screenagersmovie.com and meet with Dr. Delaney Ruston about the impact of screen technology on kids and help families navigate in a world with instant access to screens.
The event is free. Doors open at 5 p.m. and door prizes start at 5:30 p.m. Parents are encouraged to bring their children and teens. Dr. Ruston will explore the use of screens in school, video games, social media, and the risk of addiction. Childcare will be available.
